Brandon Best serves as a Director Acquisitions & Asset Manager at LAZ Investments, where he co-leads the firm’s private real estate and new venture investments. He is responsible for overseeing due diligence, financial modeling, deal execution, and asset management across a portfolio of diverse real estate and private equity companies.

Prior to his role at LAZ Investments, Brandon worked as an Associate at The Simon Konover Company, where he underwrote over $750M in multifamily acquisition and development opportunities. He also managed value-add renovation programs, spearheaded several dispositions from legacy assets, and played a key role in the evaluation of property fundamentals and new property technology.

Brandon began his career at UBS Real Estate & Private Markets, where he contributed to research on over $3.5B in market transactions across all US markets and property types, helping shape the firm’s acquisition strategy through market fundamentals and analysis. His early work at LAZ Parking honed his skills in corporate finance, business intelligence and analysis, and operational data management.

Brandon holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University.
